1.2 – Buyer Information
The individual who places an order through the website www.aladdinrugs.co.uk. The address and contact details provided during checkout are deemed accurate and valid for all communications and delivery.
This agreement governs the sale and delivery of the goods purchased by the Buyer from the Seller via the website www.aladdinrugs.co.uk, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and other applicable UK consumer laws.
Details of the product(s) purchased—including type, quantity, model, colour, price, and payment terms—are confirmed at checkout and form part of this contract.
4.1 The Buyer confirms they have read and understood the key product features, total price (including VAT if applicable), delivery terms, and cancellation policy before completing the purchase.
4.2 Orders are processed within 10 business days. Delivery times from our Turkish warehouse are typically:
UK: 10–15 business days
EU Countries: 12–20 business days
4.3 If the item is to be delivered to someone other than the Buyer, the Seller is not responsible if the recipient refuses delivery.
4.4 The Seller is not liable for delays or delivery issues caused by the courier.
4.5 The Seller ensures that goods are dispatched in perfect condition, as described, and include all relevant documentation.
4.6 In case of stock unavailability, the Seller may offer an equivalent product, subject to the Buyer’s approval.
4.7 If fulfilment becomes impossible, the Seller will inform the Buyer and issue a full refund within 14 days.
4.8 The Buyer is responsible for the security of their payment information. Fraudulent use of credit/debit cards is the Buyer’s liability after delivery.
4.9 In the event of force majeure (e.g., customs delays, natural disasters), the Seller will notify the Buyer and may propose a new delivery date or offer a full refund.
Under UK law, Buyers have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving their goods without giving any reason.
To cancel, the Buyer must:
Notify the Seller in writing (email is acceptable)
Return the item unused, in original packaging, and in resaleable condition
Upon valid cancellation:
The Buyer must return the goods within 14 days of cancellation.
The Seller will issue a full refund (excluding original delivery costs, if applicable) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Return postage: Paid by the Buyer, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
The right to cancel does not apply to:
Custom-made or personalised items (e.g. rugs made to the Buyer’s specific measurements or designs)
Items that are sealed for hygiene reasons, once opened
Items that become inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery
This agreement is governed by UK law. Any disputes will be handled by the relevant Consumer Ombudsman, Trading Standards, or the courts in the Buyer’s jurisdiction.
