ARTICLE 1 – PARTIES

1.2 Buyer Information

The Buyer is any individual who places an order through the website www.aladdinrugs.co.uk.
The details provided during checkout are deemed accurate and will be used for all contractual communications and deliveries.

ARTICLE 2 – SUBJECT

This Distance Sales Agreement governs the sale and delivery of goods purchased by the Buyer from the Seller via www.aladdinrugs.co.uk, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and all other applicable UK consumer protection laws.

ARTICLE 3 – PRODUCTS COVERED

The essential characteristics of the products, including type, size, colour, quantity, price, taxes (where applicable), and payment method, are clearly presented to the Buyer during checkout and form an integral part of this Agreement.

ARTICLE 4 – GENERAL TERMS

4.1 The Buyer confirms that they have reviewed and accepted the product description, total price, delivery information, and cancellation rights before completing the purchase.

4.2 Orders are processed and dispatched from our warehouses located in the United Kingdom and Turkey within 2–3 business days following successful payment confirmation. This period includes quality inspection, secure packaging, and export preparation where applicable.

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

UK & EU: 2–3 business days
USA: 3–5 business days (all applicable duties and tariffs are included; no additional charges on delivery)

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to destination, customs procedures, or courier operations.

4.3 Where goods are delivered to a third party nominated by the Buyer, responsibility passes upon successful delivery to the provided address.

4.4 The Seller is not responsible for delivery delays caused by third-party couriers, customs processes, or events beyond reasonable control; however, this does not affect the Buyer’s statutory rights.

4.5 All products are dispatched in new, unused condition and in accordance with the product description at the time of sale.

4.6 In the event of stock unavailability, the Seller may offer an alternative product of equal value, subject to the Buyer’s approval.

4.7 If fulfilment of an order becomes impossible, the Buyer will be informed promptly and a full refund will be issued without undue delay.

4.8 Payment transactions are processed through secure payment providers. The Seller is not responsible for unauthorised transactions resulting from circumstances beyond its control; this clause does not limit the Buyer’s rights under applicable payment protection laws.

4.9 In cases of force majeure, including but not limited to customs delays, natural disasters, or transport disruptions, the Seller will notify the Buyer and may propose a revised delivery date or issue a full refund.

ARTICLE 5 – RIGHT TO CANCEL

In accordance with UK consumer law, the Buyer has the legal right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the goods.
As an enhanced customer policy, Aladdin Rugs voluntarily extends this cancellation period to 28 days from the date of delivery.

To exercise the right to cancel, the Buyer must:

Notify the Seller in writing (email is acceptable), and
Return the goods unused, in original packaging, and in resaleable condition.

Upon valid cancellation:

The Buyer must return the goods within 14 days of notifying cancellation.
The Seller will issue a refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Buyer, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

ARTICLE 6 – EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT TO CANCEL

The right to cancel does not apply to:

Custom-made or personalised items produced to the Buyer’s specifications
Goods sealed for hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery
Goods that become inseparably mixed with other items after delivery

ARTICLE 7 – GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with UK consumer protection regulations and may be referred to Trading Standards, an appropriate Alternative Dispute Resolution body, or the competent courts of England and Wales.
